"Hand-Painted" Silk Designs
"Hand-Painted Silk" Designs
Designs may be painted on a Custom-size Silk and framed/hung on your wall, painted onto a Dance Veil or Silk Scarf.
The red-rose design was hand-painted on a silk dance veil, measuring 45" wide by 3-yards long. The Yellow Lotus Blossom was painted onto a Silk Canvas, matted and framed and then hung on a customer's wall. The other designs were hand-painted onto various sizes of Silk Scarves.
Your "Hand-Painted Silk" Designs will be created in your choice of colors and sizes of silk. I am currently offering only Roses at this time. I use various techniques to keep the colors from blending, where necessary and allowing them to blend in other areas. This technique offers me great control over how the silk dyes and Silk Fairies work their Magic on the silk. Each silk veil comes out a little differently, which is why they are called "Original Works of Art". These are truly amazing works of art and very impressive in size. =)
Custom "Hand-Painted Rose" Designs require many hours of preparation and creation time. Please allow a minimum of 2-months completion time per silk item of this nature and perhaps a little longer, depending on the complexity of the design.
Prices are determined by size of item being created, the amount of fine detal required to create each design and the hours necessary to complete the project.
